Hypometer Technologies is a young, progressive, company working with major players across the wagering, media and sports segments to deliver innovative sports analytics solutions. We build machine learning models for a growing list of 16+ sports, building beautiful, simple interfaces for our stats, and publishing these across our customer facing platforms in Australia, the UK and the USA, as well as delivering high-quality sports-data products to business clients.
Hypometer Technologies requires an in-house Product designer and all-rounder, reporting to and working directly with the executive team to achieve the overall business goal of being the best sports betting technology & content business in the world. How’s that sound?
How you'll contribute
A passionate sports fan, you’ll spend your days working across our Australian and US customer-facing sports brands, as well as managing the design and development pipelines for our business to business products. This role is an exciting mix of design, management and ownership, providing you a mix of big growth thinking and hands-on tasks.
In a nutshell, we need you to come in all guns blazing to help us out with:
A product roadmap across several brands and products, working alongside the executive team to contribute to and bring the company vision to life
The day-to-day management of product improvements, new data products and features, competitor research, and design and development workflows.

On the daily you will:
Manage the delivery of new features from ideation and design, through to development, testing and launch.
Report to and work alongside the Growth and Innovation Officer, COO and CTO to establish and execute product goals for the company.
Collaborate with all teams to understand customer needs, and match these with internal strengths and capabilities to bring ideas to life.
Develop wireframes, mockups, and complete designs of new feature interfaces
Discuss, collect, document and act on intel and ideas from marketing, design, data analysis, data engineering, content & business development teams to inform decisions
Ensure beautiful design is consistently considered across all products
Be responsible for the delegation of ownership of minor products
Keep all stakeholders up to date with product progress, timelines and blockages
Execute short and long term product plans with a ‘get it done’ attitude
Make decisions on internal resource capabilities and distribute workloads quickly and effectively
Introduce new ideas for process efficiency and apply these consistently for project, feature and bug handling
Become the company know-it-all of our product suite.
What you will bring to the role:
Minimum of 3 years experience in a product ownership or management (or similar) role working with data products
Advanced knowledge of design software - Sketch, Adobe Design Suite, others.
Hard working, no bullshit, get-it-done work ethic and track record to back it up
Love of sport (US and Australian major leagues), sports betting, and an understanding of the sports data landscape
Curiosity for what’s possible and influence to change thinking
A cool, calm and collected leadership style - you can guide others but also take responsibility and ownership of the work done by you and your team
